Is the roof inspection really free?
Yes. No charge and no obligation. You get photos and a written summary either way.
Do I need to be home?
Not for the exterior. We do need someone home if you want the attic checked or a walk-through of the photos in person. We can also go over them by phone or text.
Can you inspect a house I am buying?
Yes. Book as early in your inspection window as you can. Our summary covers the roof only and does not replace a full home inspection.
Should I get an inspection before filing an insurance claim?
It helps. Knowing whether there is real storm damage, and having photos, makes the call to your carrier clearer. Check your policy for reporting deadlines. We don't give legal or insurance advice.
Will you climb a steep or snowy roof?
Only when it is safe. If conditions are not safe, we will reschedule or use what we can see from ladders, the ground, and the attic, and tell you what we could not check.
